Holding students accountable for their actions reinforces the expectation that safety is a shared responsibility. It creates an environment where students understand that adherence to safety rules is non-negotiable. Focusing solely on theoretical knowledge risks neglecting the practical application of safety rules, and encouraging peer competition can inadvertently create a high-pressure environment that might lead some students to ignore safety for the sake of performance.
